Islands in the Stream
The Florida Keys begin in our backyard, and extend for over 125 miles like a string of pearls against an emerald sea.
Often called "America's Caribbean islands", the Keys are warmed by the Gulf stream, a swiftly flowing river in the ocean. The Keys are known for their spectacular coral reefs, excellent marina facilities and quiet restful anchorages.
Sheltered by the only living coral reef in the U.S., the Keys offer splendid sailing conditions year round. The climate is deliciously tropical, yet tempered by cool ocean breezes.

One may cruise offshore down the coastline via the deep and well-marked, "Hawk Channel"; or duck inside to explore the series of protected sounds that make up "Florida Bay". In these mangrove- laden isles, manatees and dolphins play. You're almost sure to catch a glimpse of many graceful wading birds-such as the great blue heron, white egret or rare roseate spoonbill.
At the "southernmost" tip, visit the historic seafaring town of Key West, laid-back and friendly. Some of our charter vessels are located in the heart of "Old Town", within walking distance to restaurants, Hemingway's house and the famous nightly sunset celebration at Mallory Square.
